FAQs

Questions about PVC free banners

Everything you need to know before you order. Can't see your question? Our team is happy to help.

Ask us a question →
What makes these banners PVC free?
They are printed on a newer banner material that contains no PVC and no phthalates. It looks and feels like a traditional banner but is safer to dispose of at the end of its life.
Are they suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. The material is waterproof, tear resistant and fade resistant, so it works indoors and outdoors. Each banner has a reinforced 25mm hem and eyelets spaced around the edges so it can be tied up securely.
What is the difference between metal and plastic eyelets?
Metal eyelets are the standard choice and give a strong, neat fixing point. Plastic eyelets are a lighter alternative. Both are placed at regular intervals around the edge.
How do I hang the banner?
Thread cable ties or rope through the eyelets and fix the banner to a fence, frame or railing. You can add a pack of banner cable ties to your order.
Can I order a custom size?
Yes. Banners can be made in custom sizes, up to 50m long. Get in touch for a quote.
What file types can I upload?
We accept JPEG, PNG, PDF and EPS files. Use a high-resolution file (300dpi) for the sharpest print, and allow 3mm bleed around the edge so nothing important is trimmed off.
Can I check my design before it is printed?
Yes. Leave a note in the order comments at checkout and we will send a digital proof for your approval before anything is printed. We also check every file when it arrives and get in touch if we spot a problem.
How long will my PVC free banners take?
Standard PVC free banners are printed in 4 working days, and most orders arrive in about 6 working days in total. Delivery time depends on the shipping option you choose at checkout. See our turnaround times for every product.
