DTG or DTF? Same price, different look

Both methods print full colour with no minimum order. Pick the look that suits your design. You can switch between them in the preview and see the difference before you order.

DTG Direct to garment
  • Feel: soft and breathable. The ink soaks into the cotton, so you can barely feel it.
  • Look: natural, slightly muted colour with the fabric texture showing through.
  • Best for: photos, illustrations, gradients and vintage-style prints.
  • Watch out for: very fine detail and bright neon colours on dark shirts.
DTF Direct to film
  • Feel: a thin, smooth film pressed onto the shirt. Flexible, with a slight sheen.
  • Look: bright, bold, saturated colour with crisp, sharp edges.
  • Best for: logos, text, cartoon artwork and solid graphics, on any colour shirt.
  • Watch out for: very large solid areas feel less breathable than DTG.

Everything is made to order. Production starts once your order and artwork are in, and working days are Monday to Friday, not including bank holidays. Delivery time is added on top.

Is there a minimum order?
No. You can order a single shirt, a handful for your team or a full merch run. Every shirt is printed to order.
What is the difference between DTG and DTF?
DTG prints the ink straight into the cotton, so it feels soft and suits photos and detailed artwork. DTF presses a printed film onto the shirt, giving bright, sharp colour on any shirt colour, which suits logos and text. Both cost the same, so pick the look you prefer.
How much does each print placement cost?
The price starts at £14.57, which includes the shirt and a front print. Each extra placement (back, left sleeve or right sleeve) adds £4.62. The price updates as you tick each placement.
Can I order different sizes of the same design?
Yes. Type how many you need in each size and they are all added to your basket together with the same artwork.
What artwork should I send?
Upload a high-resolution PNG with a transparent background for the cleanest print. For a full-size front print, aim for around 4400 × 5400 pixels (300dpi). JPG, WebP and PDF files are also accepted. We check every order before printing and will contact you if anything needs fixing.
Which size should I order?
It is a loose fit, so take your usual size for a relaxed look. Check the size guide on this page for exact measurements.
How long will my order take?
Shirts are printed to order and dispatched within 8–16 working days. Delivery time then depends on the shipping option you choose at checkout.
How is this different from the Heavyweight Oversized tee?
It is a little lighter (260gsm against 300gsm) with a relaxed loose fit rather than a boxy drop shoulder, and it costs less, which makes it a good choice for larger team or merch orders.
